My "Best Friend" Get Broken!

Hello!

Who is my best friend actually?

How can he get broken?!

I had been with him for 5 years. :(

But now, he gets idle.

Do you know who he is?

YES! He is my one and only laptop that I bought 5 years ago. I named him "Apple". :D
I'm very sad that he got broken (again) for the second time.

I remember a funny experience every time I'm talking about Apple. Last year, 2015, he got broken on his display, which the screen remained black, although the machine was working. I tried to troubleshoot that trouble by myself. And, surprisingly it worked like a charm! Hahaha. All I did was cleaned the chip on the motherboard (I browsed a tutorial on YouTube).

But, sadly after being "healthy", now he suffers from the same "sickness" again.

Maybe, you will say and think that;

"Are going mad and insane?"

"That is just thing. Why are you sad as if you lost someone?"

I will reply;

"You just said the truth. It is really like losing someone special."

Why? Because...

That is the first stuff that I could afford. I bought it by myself from my own efforts. :')
Apple used to help me to finish my work to kill the deadlines.

I took a lesson that every thing in this world will surely get broken and won't last long. Don't ever brag about anything, because we are nothing in this world but a human that needs the Creator. :)

Thank you.

Soft-skill Course In Real Life

Yesterday's night was very fun and thrilling at the same time! :D

How come?!!!

What would you feel when your own business can finally do outdoor promo? Feel excited, wouldn't you? I'm sure you're going to say yes, hahah!

So, yesterday I got a chance to open an expo stand for my startup business "Rubahitam Creative Studio" at Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta for "Semarak Teknik 2016" event for two days with my partner, thanks to mr. Fairuz Salwina. He really helped me a lot to make this come true.

The first time I knew Fairuz Salwina was when I became a member of Yogyakarta's Yi Cam Community. He is very great at video editing, programming, and aerial cinematography a.k.a videos that are taken from sky using a drone! :D I am really lucky to ever know him.

So, at the Rubahitam expo stand, the visitors could ask as many as questions about my startup, as long as I had the knowledge to reply to the questions at that moment I would directly do.

From this event, I could get many lessons, such as good communicating with others and visitors. I also learned how to promote my business in a good way. It was like I was in real life class of Soft-skills course! So much fun! :D

Thank you.

Getting Outta Comfort Zone

Hello, again!

After last time I published such a sad post, now it's the other side. :D

Wonderful people near me have always told me that your time in the college is very precious. They said that I need to use it very well.

Besides building up my own startup company "Rubahitam Creative Studio", I'm starting to join up with as many as positive communities and become committee of events. I'm currently taking part as one of committee of UGM's important events; PPSMB Lentera Budaya 2016, Porsenigama 2016 & Gadjah Mada Exhibition! I've never been so glad and excited as today! :D

Right now, I'm like getting out of my comfort zone and not becoming so "myself", as in the past days I kind of hated to be active in communities and so on.

I just realized that through applying for those communities, I will find a large network that will be very useful to myself and business. I also find so many great and wonderful new people to take lessons from. That will also make me not become hypocrite.

Good DPA won't help me a lot, but a large network and soft-skills definitely will.

At last, not only wonderful people near me that have made me realize this, but also Soft-skills course has. Thank you, my wonderful lecturer, Miss Endang. :D

Unforgettable Words

Hello, guys!

After awhile being busy for college stuffs & work deadlines, I can finally sit on in front of my computer to write another personal experience of mine! :D

This experience is actually going to be cliche or kind of sad, but I'm sure it's going to be something that can motivate me more.

So, I have a friend that I have known since I got accepted in the college. Although, "that friend" has hurt my feeling, "that friend" has been very kind and nice to me which is good. :)

An afternoon in around March 2016, I got out of my last class on that day. I met "that friend" in front of the class, all of a sudden "that friend" asked me, "Hey, I'm so hungry. I'm going to find something to eat. Will you join in with me?". Since I was feeling the same, I said yes instantly, then we went to there together.

After arriving to the eating place, "that friend" and I chose our own desired menu to eat, after a few minutes the foods and drinks had finally come to our table. While eating, my mood and appetite broke in just a second.

  • "You should hang out often, Mbah," those words came out of "that friend's" mouth.

  • "Aren't you tired or bored of facing many deadlines?" "that friend" added.

I couldn't say any single word to reply or response "that friend's" question.
I was trying to find out what was exactly "that friend's" meaning by saying that.
I remained silent for seconds. I kept on eating with slower speed and less volume of foods.

  • "Am I that busy?" I finally had the courage to say a word.

  • "Yes, you should live your life, and enjoy your youth", "that friend" replied.

  • "You should not think about making money at this time, just enjoy this joyful time", more words came out.
  • "I just want to help my parents by helping myself out", I gave response.

  • "As long as your parents can still have the ability to pay all your needs, just use them. Don't get fooled by money", that hurtful sentence I couldn't believe "that friend" had said that.
  • "But, this is how I enjoy my youth, I always love to work and get the deadlines finished. It helps me to be more discipline and makes me manage my time better. And if you think that I work for money, you are totally wrong. Since, I work to help my parents and train myself to be more independent. I am building my future, my youth is the golden time. I never chase money, but money chases me, I don't know why.", I spoke these long sentences all at once with fast speed.
After that, I decided to leave and went home to fix my mood, so I wouldn't make the situation become worse.

Since that day, I have always remembered the words coming out of "that friend's" mouth. They have stabbed my heart like a knife. Tho, I always thank "that friend" that those sentences have given me motivation. :)

I think it is enough for the chit-chat, hahaha.

I never hate "that friend" tho, I always thank "that friend".

Thank you. :)

Wrong Path?

Hello, guys! :{D

Where am I? What kind of place is it?

Blogspot seems to be a new thing. (for me) Mmm.. actually no, I had a blog then, but I used it to show off my work; Motion Design, 2D Animation & 3D Modeling. I will be more soft of "personal" on this new blog. I know I'm bad at writing but I hope but I'll try my best. :{D

Oh! Almost forgot to introduce myself. :( My name is Muhammad Rifqi Ardiansyah. My friends usually call me Rifqi or even, Simbah. -_- I live in Bantul, Yogyakarta. I study English in Universitas Gadjah Mada and this is my second semester.

Okay! Let's get started!

So I've been using my Instagram account: www.instagram.com/Rubahitam to post my portfolio for around 3 years.

My friends always wonder why I took English for my study, while I like creating those stuffs. Why not Arts, or Visual Communication Design, or else? Common questions that are asked by my friends.

I don't know how to answer, hahaha. I just like to create those things (above) but I like studying English as well.

Maybe I've been mislead or in the wrong path? I have know idea until now, I just keep on doing this as long as it's a good thing. :{D

That's all from me. Thank you for stopping by to read this randomness.

See you on the next post! :{D
